Ridge Area Arc has been selected for Winn-Dixie Community Bag Program

For the month of September

AVON PARK – For the entire month of September, store leadership at Winn-Dixie’s, 802 Highway 27 South, Avon Park location has selected Ridge Area Arc to receive a $1 donation from every purchase of the $2.99 Community Bag. Ridge Area Arc is a non-profit agency committed to serving and advocating for individuals with developmental and other disabilities.

 

The Community Bag Program facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the vicinities where shoppers live and work. More than $450,000 has been donated to over 8,300 local nonprofits since the Program launched in February 2019.

 

“This is a great way to raise awareness, support the environment and raise funds for our mission. We are honored to have been selected as a beneficiary and hope that the community will support this program,” said Donna Smolarick, Ridge Area Arc Director of Development.
